This course assumes a fundamental understanding of cybersecurity — it is not an introductory course. If you are new to cybersecurity management, we recommend building that foundation first.
Passing the exam earns the PECB Certified NIS 2 Directive Provisional Implementer credential — no prior professional experience is required for this level. The Implementer, Lead Implementer and Senior Lead Implementer titles require, in addition to passing the exam, documented professional experience (ranging from 2 to 10 years, including dedicated cybersecurity management work) and signature of PECB’s Code of Ethics. GCSI can help you identify which level applies to your profile once you’ve passed the exam.
