Business Continuity

ISO 22301 is the international standard for building a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) — the structured capability to keep critical operations running, or resume them quickly, when disruption hits. It is what separates an organization that has actually rehearsed its response to disruption from one that has only written a document about it.

Why this matters for your organization

Board & executive leadership

Operational resilience is now a stated regulatory expectation in several of the frameworks affecting Luxembourg organizations (DORA among them). Boards are expected to know whether the organization’s continuity plan has been tested, not simply that one exists on paper.

Risk, compliance & data protection functions

For those responsible for regulatory reporting, ISO 22301 provides an internationally recognized structure that maps cleanly onto continuity and resilience obligations increasingly requested by regulators and by enterprise clients during due diligence.

Operational & technical specialists

For the teams who will actually execute a continuity plan under pressure, ISO 22301’s discipline of documented, tested procedures is what turns a plan from a theoretical document into something the organization can actually run when it matters.
