This course assumes a general working knowledge of ISMS concepts and ISO/IEC 27001 — it is not an introductory course. If you are new to information security management, we recommend building that foundation first.
Passing the exam earns the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Provisional Implementer credential — no prior professional experience is required for this level. The Implementer, Lead Implementer and Senior Lead Implementer titles require, in addition to passing the exam, documented professional experience (ranging from 2 to 10 years, including dedicated information security management and ISMS project work) and signature of PECB’s Code of Ethics.
